Rangers fans go wild for incredible garden bench based on iconic Ibrox gates after pictures shared on social media
RANGERS fans have gone wild for an incredible garden bench based on the iconic gates at Ibrox.
The stunning bench was made by G.D Steel in Belfast and is done in the Gers light blue colours with the popular slogan “We are the people” shaped into the frame.
Fans were buzzing after a picture of the bench was shared on social media by a Twitter user.
A post with the picture attached said: “What an absolute beauty.”
The post attracted hundreds of comments from fans eager to find out how they can get their hands on one.
One supporter gushed: “I want that for the garden.”
Another added: “Take my money right now.”
Whilst another simply said: “This is amazing.”
G.D Steel in Belfast crafted the bench after a customer request and shared their creation on Facebook.
It’s described as being 4 foot long and has the design of the iconic Ibrox gates as the back of the bench where it says “Rangers Football Club” within the design.
And the Nothern Ireland firm has received loads of requests from Gers fans in Scotland looking to get one sent over.
Gareth Harrison,28, who owns the business told the Sun that he’s received three orders of the custom made design since posting the pic on Friday.
He said: “I’ve been overwhelmed by the response, to be honest.
“I’ve had a few enquiries about it asking how much they are, there’s been a lot of people liking and sharing it.”
The benches cost £550 excluding delivery costs.
Gareth who runs the store since June 2017 said the benches usually take a days graft to put the whole design together and he is open to any requests from fans.
