Household Says Social Media Accusations They Are Associated With Kidnapping Of 5-Year-Old Dulce Maria Alavez Are Untrue
BRIDGETON, N.J. (CBS)– The household of missing out on 5-year-old Dulce Maria Alavez is desperate to have her back home after cops state she was abducted from a park in Bridgeton on Monday afternoon. An Amber Alert was issued for Dulce on Tuesday night.
Cops state Dulce’s mom, 19-year-old Noema Alavez Perez, is working together with police and the girl’s father is not in the United States. While authorities can not dismiss that an individual Dulce knows took her, the family is asking people not to jump to any conclusions at this heart-wrenching time.
Dulce’s auntie, Nayiber Alavez Perez, says the allegations on social media that the household is associated with the kidnapping are incorrect and untrue.

“Well, it’s truly much more harder for us due to the fact that they’re evaluating us that we have something to do with it, when we don’t. We might disappoint feeling or things like that however it’s due to the fact that we’re trying to be strong for her. We simply want her back house,” Alavez Perez stated.
She says every hour that passes while her niece is missing is abuse.
“We as a household, we feel really unfortunate and really bad for not finding my niece. We do not understand who took her, who’s with her, how she is doing and everything. The only thing we’re trying to do is find her,” Alavez Perez said.
Dulce was last seen between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday at the Bridgeton City Park play area. She was with her 3-year-old sibling while her mom remained in her car with another member of the family about 50 yards away.
Police performed a major search of the park and nearby waterways in the very first 30 hours after the woman’s disappearance. At the same time, detectives released a criminal investigation which led them to conclude the woman was abducted.
“We don’t have any solid suspects,” Bridgeton Cops Chief Michael Gaimari stated. “We’re investigating all the possibilities.”
Police were able to get enough info to release an Amber Alert by tracking down people who had actually been hanging around the basketball courts near the location where Dulce disappeared. A minimum of one individual had the ability to provide details about a possible kidnapper.
“We were able to locate those witnesses through the department’s body cameras and MVRs and we were able to transfer those witnesses and we’re still continuing to locate witnesses,” Gaimari said.
Authorities say the possible kidnapper is a light-skinned, potentially Hispanic, man who stands 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 with a thin build. He has no facial hair but does have acne.
Authorities state he was last seen wearing orange sneakers, red pants and a black shirt. He was driving a red van with a moving door and tinted windows.
Dulce was last seen using a yellow t-shirt with an elephant, black and white trousers, and white shoes.
