Lovato issued an apology Wednesday to her fans, and after that erased the post quickly thereafter, “I’m very frustrated. I accepted a free journey to Israel in exchange for a couple of posts. Nobody told me there would be anything incorrect with going or that I could perhaps be upseting anybody. With that being said, I’m sorry if I’ve hurt or offended anybody,”
“Often people present you with opportunities and nobody tells you the possible reaction you could deal with in return. This was implied to be a spiritual experience for me, NOT A POLITICAL STATEMENT and now I realize it harm people and for that I’m sorry,” she included.
It is unidentified as to who moneyed her journey.
She has disabled fans’ ability to comment on her posts (with 74.5 million followers), probably due to the variety of unfavorable reactions she got.
